Position

Yaron Reiter is one of the firm’s founding partners, and heads our Class Actions and Litigation Department, which is consistently ranked by both local and foreign ranking guides as a leader in its field.

Yaron is a highly esteemed and venerated litigator, whose appearances in courts have secured him a solid reputation. He is recognized for his creative approach to complex litigation.

Yaron serves as an arbitrator and mediator, and appears before all courts, including the Supreme Court and Appellate Courts.

Yaron has in-depth knowledge and expertise in local and international litigation and particularly in the field of class actions; in addition, he possesses extensive experience in partner and shareholders disputes.

Over the years, Yaron has acquired considerable and unique experience in representing companies and entities sued in class actions in a wide variety of areas, such as insurance, banking, labour law, lotteries and gambling, antitrust, privacy protection, data and cyber processing, environmental nuisance (noise, odour, air pollution, etc.), taxes, capital markets and securities, real estate, accessibility and prevention of discrimination, spam, sports, consumerism, intellectual property, local authorities and councils, corporations, transport, tourism, aviation, and communication (computers, internet, cable, TV, media, cellular, wired, international, etc.).

Yaron provides his clients with legal as well as strategic advice.

In addition, Yaron has substantial experience representing companies, businesspersons, executives and seniors in derivative claims, managing corporate control struggles, shareholder disputes and minority shareholder oppression claims, as well as administrative petitions, financial sanctions, the Freedom of Information Act, and petitions to the High Court.

With experience in managing complex transactions in a variety of fields, Yaron advises and accompanies processes for the formation and formulation of investment transactions in private and public companies, traded in Israel and the United States. Yaron has also accumulated a great deal of experience in representing and operating with venture capital funds and investment banks – and has been a partner to debt settlements and corporate recovery procedures.

Yaron is one of Israel’s most prominent and respected lawyers in litigation in general and in the field of class actions in particular; our firm’s class actions department, which he heads, is consistently ranked by the Israeli ranking guides as top tier in the field of class actions.

He appears in seminars and professional conferences for various forums, including, on behalf of the Israel Bar Association. Yaron is also known to the Israeli media; having published articles on litigation and been interviewed for articles on topics related to his areas of expertise.

Yaron has won recognition by international ranking guides for his achievements:

Career

One of the founding partners of AYR in 2010. Yaron co-ordinates the firm’s litigation practice, including international litigation. Partner at Ron Gazit, Rotenberg and Co. where he headed the litigation practice and left to establish AYR. Member of the Israel Bar Class Action Committee.
