Astrid Mignon Colombet is a partner at August Debouzy specialising in White-Collar Crime – Investigations.

Astrid has over twenty years of experience in handling complex and high-profile criminal defense cases (Concorde crash, Erika oil spill, AZF explosion, bribery of foreign public officials, transnational negotiated justice and laundering of tax fraud).

She represents companies and executives in criminal proceedings, at all stages, and assists them with sensitive topics such as crisis management, conduct of internal investigations and appropriate judicial strategies and awareness of governing bodies.

Astrid teaches economic criminal law at Sciences Po Paris, regularly publishes articles in European and French legal journals and is an active member of the International Bar Association (board member of the IBA Criminal Committee and liaison officer to the Ethics Committee of the IBA). She also serves as a rapporteur in the commission Convention Judiciaire d’Intérêt Public (CJIP) of the Club des juristes opened in 2024.

August Debouzy has a large and experienced able to assist clients at various stages, from early compliance to prosecution phases. The firm represents leading companies specialising in various industries (retail, defence, engineering, banking), as well as senior executives and some elected officials. Its caseload is as diverse and encompasses illicit advertising, insider dealing, corruption, fraud and money laundering offences. The team has gained particular expertise assisting companies negotiating deferred prosecution deals (CJIP) – it assisted clients in signing two CJIP in 2023 including a very high-profile one. The team also has strong knowledge of international sanctions and of companies’ criminal liabilities linked to conflict areas.
