Position

Sara is a Lawyer and is a member of the tax, finance (taxation issues) and real estate (taxation issues) teams.

Her work consists of providing tax advice to campanies and private clients, as well as representing clients in tax litigation. She advises on real estate restructuring for setting up and marketing residential developments, hotels and tourism undertakings, with emphasis on analysing the specifics of the law, particularly for applying tax incentives for urban rehabilitation, carrying out and drafting contracts for transfers involving any kind of real estate assets, structuring and negotiating real estate transactions, including conducting due diligences and real estate investment fund operations.

She also advises financial institutions and insurance company on taxation matters.

Career

Sara graduated in 2005 from the Law Faculty of Universidade de Lisboa.

She has worked with Espanha e Associados since 2005.

She was an Associate Lawyer at the Tax Department of Telles de Abreu e Associados from 2017 to 2018.

Sara is co-author of Coletânea de Legislação de Seguros – Ramo Vida, published by Editora Almedina in October 2014.
