Position

Ricardo is a Senior Lawyer and a member of the coordination team.

Ricardo’s work consists of providing tax advice to individual and corporate investors. He has worked in the area of income taxes and social security, providing support for non-habitual residents and seconded workers, analysing income and taxes on income, tax benefits, conflicts of laws and application of double tax treaties, among others. His work also involves tax litigation where he represents clients in administrative, judicial and arbitration proceedings on a very broad range of substantive issues.

Career

Ricardo graduated in 1992 from the Law School of Universidade de Lisboa.

From 1993 to 2005, he was a tax consultant at KPMG & Associados – SROC, SA.

In 2001, he assumed the position of Manager of the Fiscal Consulting Department.

Ricardo has worked with Espanha e Associados since 2005 and is a member of the coordination team.

He graduated in 1992 from the Law School of Universidade de Lisboa. He completed a post-graduate course in European Studies at the Law Faculty of Universidade de Lisboa in 1993 and attended the first post-graduate course in Company Management and Law at the Economics School of Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2003.He also attended an advanced post-graduate course in Taxation held by the Instituto de Direito Económico, Financeiro e Fiscal of the Lisbon Law School in 2009.
