Career

Peter is a very experienced lawyer and financial lines expert who acts for, among others, notaries , lawyers, accountants, insurance brokers and estate agents. Within this broad field of insurance and liability law he advises and litigates about professional indemnity and related coverage disputes and insurance policies. Peter also deals with the liability of financial service providers, such as asset managers.

Peter has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the disciplinary law of various professionals. Advising on and conducting defense on behalf of professionals in disciplinary proceedings is an important part of his practice.

On behalf of the KNB (Royal Notarial Association), Peter regularly gives courses on liability law to civil-law notaries. In addition, Peter regularly provides training to insurers on professional liability and insurance law.
