Marijn De Ruysscher is a counsel in our Commercial and Dispute Resolution practices and our Insurance & Reinsurance industry department.
Career
Marijn has a particular focus on:
- international commercial arbitration
- commercial dispute resolution in professional and product liability, tort, distribution and insurance
Marijn has a broad experience in commercial dispute resolution via litigation and arbitration in areas such as liability law, commercial contracts and distribution law. He has specialist experience in complex questions relating to prescription law.

Education
Marijn received his Master of Laws degree from the Universiteit Gent (Ghent, Belgium) in 2007 and was awarded an LL.M in International Commercial Arbitration Law by Stockholm University (Stockholm, Sweden) in 2008. In the same year, he was admitted to the Brussels Bar. In 2011, he joined Lydian as an Associate from another independent Belgian law firm and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2015. He has participated in the ICC Institute Masterclass for Arbitrators.
