Position

Jelmer has become partner in the finance and restructuring practice at Van Doorne as per 1 January 2023. He focuses on advising clients – companies, creditors, investors and financial institutions – on insolvency law and (financial) restructuring both in and outside of insolvency proceedings as well as advising investors, lenders and intermediary platforms on alternative financing and funding methods such as peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, crowdfunding, debt-based securities and invoice financing.

Jelmer regularly publishes on matters related to its expertise in legal literature.

Career

Jelmer started with Dentons (formerly known as: Boekel de Nerée) in 2010. He moved to Van Doorne in 2013.
