Position

Ralph specializes in financial liability law. Ralph acts for banks, insurers, accounting firms and other financial service providers. His focus is on complex disputes involving duty of care, financial supervision law, general contract and liability law. Before joining Van Doorne as a partner in late 2023, Ralph was a partner in the Financial Litigation department of NautaDutilh.

Ralph has represented several Dutch (major) banks in complex legal disputes. Cases on internal fraud, prospectus liability, financing discussions, ESG-related litigation, international consumer law, anti money laundering legislation, and numerous other topics are among Ralph’s expertise. Clients praise Ralph for his effective handling of cases and his high success rate.

Ralph regularly gives presentations and lectures on duty of care and related topics and publishes with some regularity on the areas of law in which he specializes.
