José Sánchez-Fayos joined Uría Menéndez in 2014 and he is Associate of the firm since 2018.
José has over four years of experience advising domestic and foreign charterers and shipowners, port terminals and also operators within the aviation sector such as owners and lessees, together with its financiers.
His profesional activity has mainly developed in the shipping and aviation law, advising in tax lease structures for the acquisition of vessels and other assets, and also in the financing of vessels, aircrafts and port terminals. He has experience in shipbuilding, repair and transformation contracts, and ship, yatch and aircraft sale and purchase. José has also participated in acquisition and restructuring proyects of companies within the transport sector.
