Valentijn De Boe is a member of Loyens & Loeff’s Public Law Practice Group in Belgium and is also a member of the Procurement and Administrative Law Team in Brussels.


Counsel at Loyens & Loeff since 2017. Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff, Valentijn worked as a senior associate in an international law firm


Valentijn has considerable experience in public-private partnerships (PPPs), public procurement, administrative contracts, public entities, projects and public and administrative law. His clients include contractors, contracting authorities and banks in Belgium and across Europe.

Valentijn holds a Master in law, from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium, 2004) and a Master of arts in EU law from the College of Europe ( Bruges, Belgium).

The healthcare and life sciences team at Loyens & Loeff regularly handles a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including regulatory, tax, corporate and administrative considerations. The group's client roster spans medical device manufacturers, biotech and pharmaceutical companies to healthcare entrepreneurs and organisations. A team led by Yves Van Couter is instructed by Arthrex to advise on commercial, regulatory and data protection issues pertaining to the launch of specialised medical software in Belgium and the Netherlands. Other clients include investment firms Cinven and Bain Capital and the academic organisation for dentists, the International Team for Implantology. Filip Saelens heads up the practice, which includes new hire Valentijn De Boe, who joined from Allen & Overy LLP. Evelina Roegiers is now with Crowell & Moring.
