Career

Roel Fransis is a Partner in the Corporate and Finance Practice Group. He specialises in banking and (international) insolvency law (bankruptcy, European Insolvency Regulation, loans and security rights, attachments, work-outs and restructuring, director’s liability, including private international law). He advises national and international clients and has extensive experience in litigation in these fields.

He joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in 2005 and became partner in 2014. He is a researcher at the Institute for Commercial and Insolvency Law of the University of Leuven. He is author of many publications in the field of insolvency law, and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences on insolvency law (ou dans la partie education)
