Position

Rui Ribeiro Lima joined the firm in 2007. He is a member of the administrative and public law and urban planning and environment teams.

Career

Rui practices in several areas of administrative law, mainly in the areas of urban planning, environment, expropriations and public procurement, both in procedural matters as well as in administrative litigation.

Rui provides legal advice to clients in what concerns the licensing of activities, as well as urban planning and zoning. He has also been involved in assisting clients in environmental impact assessment procedures and in environmental offences.

In 2004 he was legal advisor to the Minister for Public Works, Transportation and Housing of the XV Portuguese Government and from 2004 to 2007 a legal advisor to the Mayor of Lisbon.

Rui Ribeiro Lima is often invited to speak at seminars, conferences, postgraduate studies related to Administrative Law, namely urban planning and environmental law.
