Manuel Requicha Ferreira has extensive experience in capital markets, namely takeovers and IPOs, and is involved in the recent reform of the Securities Code. The main projects on which he has advised in the last years include corporate finance, real estate finance, simple or structured securities issuances by public or private entities, project finance, securitizations and structured finance.

He is a member of the Think-Thank Governance Lab, responsible for several publications in banking governance on Portuguese speaking countries.

He has been a professor at postgraduate programmes on Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance and on Banking & Insolvency of Lisbon Law School, and has published several articles and books in the Banking, Capital Markets and Governance matters, namely “Competing Tenders Offers”, “Bank Nomination Committees”, “Irrevocable and Negative Irrevocable Undertakings”.
