Netherlands > Dispute resolution: Commercial litigation
BarentsKrans‘ dispute resolution group consists of multiple teams – a key pillar of the practice is the corporate, commercial, and financial litigation group led by William Schonewille, who acts as counsel for claimants in mass damages cases and other class actions (including financial services cases). Martijn van Maanen leads the private enforcement side of the practice, often acting for claimants in infringement cases, while Rieme-Jan Tjittes heads up the arbitration practice and Supreme Court litigation team, where Philip Fruytier is another key contact. Marjolein van Rest focuses on preventing and settling disputes, Annelies van der Ploeg handles complex post-M&A litigation, and Roeland de Mol frequently represents high-net-worth individuals.
