Nuno Cunha Barnabé is a Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2019, working in the tax area.

With over 20 years’ experience in tax law, Nuno Cunha Barnabé is a specialist in wealth taxation, advising private clients, family businesses, private banks and financial assets managers in Portugal, Switzerland and Portuguese-speaking African countries.

In his professional career he has been involved in a significant number of M&A operations, corporate reorganisation, debt work-out, real estate transactions and foreign investment. He is also regularly consulted in these areas by foreign offices regarding taxation matters.

Nuno is founder of the Portuguese Tax Arbitration Tribunal and is a member of several fiscal associations and associations in the private clients sector, in Portugal and abroad.
