Career

Nuno is a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice. He has 30 years’ experience and is dedicated to arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution, with particular expertise in exports and international trade, and a special focus on the Mozambican market.

Nuno was Minister of the Presidency in the 15th Constitutional Government (2002-2004) and Minister of State for the Presidency and Parliamentary Affairs in the 16th Constitutional Government (2004-2005). He was also a member of the Superior Council of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a founding member of the National Data Protection Commission and a member of the Schengen Joint Supervisory Authority.

Nuno graduated in law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and he took a postgraduate course in EU law at the same university.
