Career

Sofia is a senior associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice. With nearly 10 years’ professional experience, she regularly provides legal advice to Portuguese and international clients in various sectors, with a special focus on retail, shopping centres, agro-industry, offices, residential, renewable energy, telecommunications and infrastructures.

She has assisted clients in a wide variety of real estate transactions, representing her clients at all stages of the deal. These include sale and purchase transactions, lease transactions, constitution of real rights and land restructuring.

Sofia completed a postgraduate course in real estate law at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

She also was a guest research fellow at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law and has a master’s in legal sciences (judicial procedure) from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
