Supreme Court Attorney Ottar Palsson began working for LOGOS’ predecessor, Aðalsteinsson & Partners in 1997. He has been a Partner at LOGOS from 2000-2006 and again from 2011, holding the position of CEO and Managing Director of the Legal and Compliance Department at ALMC hf. (formerly Straumur-Burðarás Investment Bank hf.) in the interim.

Ottar graduated from the University of Iceland with a cand.jur. degree in 1997, qualified as an Attorney in 1998 and a Supreme Court Attorney in 2005. He received his LL.M. degree in Company, Banking and Securities Law from University College London in 2001.

LOGOS excels in the field of capital markets and has recently handled significant transactions, including acting as local counsel to Citigroup, JP Morgan and Íslandsbanki on the €377m IPO of Íslandsbanki by the Icelandic State Financial Investments.
