Lex Law Offices’ maritime and transport practice represented insurers Codan Forsikring and the four owners of the grounded Green Freezer in related matters including damage claims, environmental considerations and in a ISK8.7m salvage dispute. Practice head Lilja Jónasdóttir is highly regarded and has been instructed by Samskip in several high-value matters. Clients include, Jonar transport, Skuld and Vinnslustöðin (VSV).

The team at LOGOS acted for EIMSKIP in drafting and negotiating a shipbuilding contract in China and continues to advise on ongoing cargo claims. Practice head Einar Baldvin Axelsson represents Vatryggingafelag Islands (VIS) in a claim against Samskip for damage to cargo caused by deficient containers.
