FROM THE EDITOR
The Legal 500 United Kingdom 2017 is now online. Please use the left-hand menu to navigate through the practice areas.
Welcome to the home page for The Legal 500 United Kingdom, the leading guide to law firms in the UK; over four million users visit The Legal 500 website each year. The guide is aimed at buyers of legal services, particularly general/corporate counsel. Published annually, it is researched and written by an experienced team. The research process involves inviting submissions from law firms across the UK, in accordance with our guidelines, which can be found here. There are separate timetables for the UK regions and London firms; please note the deadlines if you want to make a submission. We then contact clients listed in submissions for references, and researchers conduct interviews with firms as appropriate. In the finalised guide, firms are ranked according to location and practice area; leading individuals in each field are also listed. Every firm ranked – and every individual mentioned – in The Legal 500 UK is 'recommended'.
If you have feedback on the Legal 500 series of any kind, please do get in touch with our research team at editorial@legal500.com.
