Career

Michał Andruszkiewicz is a Polish-qualified advocate advising clients from the energy and chemicals sectors on a wide range of legal issues. His experience includes advising on development of large-scale industrial projects (including a propane dehydrogenation system and polypropylene production system, olefins complex), new power units (including gas-steam and coal-fired units), renewable energy investments (including contracts and regulatory advice), and projects related to the development of the power grid (interconnectors). Michał in particular supports clients by preparing and negotiating EPC contracts, long-term contracts for the gas supply and power purchase agreements, grid connection agreements, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contracts, PMC agreements, technology license agreements, as well as various contract concerning construction works and delivery of the equipment (in particular in multi contracting projects) and operation & maintenance agreements. Michał also coordinated team of lawyers in advising on numerous M&A transactions on the Polish renewable energy sources (RES) sector.

He has worked for clients on regulatory issues concerning the principles of energy and gas markets. He has also participated in work on amendments to the grid code (IRIESP), and advised on issues related to cross-border electricity exchange.
