CMS’ group ‘stands out for its stellar industry knowledge, business sense and innovative solutions’, and is ‘one of the strongest in the country’. The ‘charismatic and eloquent’ Wojciech Koczara advised Pradera on its €900m acquisition of a multi-jurisdictional retail portfolio. Other work for the team included Invesco Real Estate with the purchase of Wawel Holding. Anna Brzoza-Ostrowska is another name to note. Adriana Andrzejewska is now with Linklaters.

Dentons’ ‘superb’ team ‘knows its clients and devises cost-effective solutions, tailored to their business requirements’. ‘Excellent negotiatorMonika Sitowicz advised CPI Property Group on its €650m acquisition of a retail portfolio from CBRE Global Investors. ‘Market icon and leader in real estatePaweł Dębowskidominates the sector with outstanding project management skills’. Piotr Szafarz heads the group. Bartosz Kordeczka made partner; Elżbieta Lis and Tomasz Stasiak are also recommended.

Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak sp. k.’s group combines ‘deep legal and market knowledge with a business-minded approach’. The team assisted Rockcastle Global Real Estate with its €361m acquisition of Bonarka City Center from TriGranit. The ‘very experienced, client-oriented’ Radomił Charzyński and ‘supreme drafterAgnieszka Stankiewicz, who has ‘outstanding stamina in negotiations’, jointly lead the practice. Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch joined from Hogan Lovells (Warszawa) LLP. Marek Grodek and Bartosz Clemenz joined Hogan Lovells (Warszawa) LLP in May 2018.

Baker & McKenzie Krzyżowski i Wspólnicy Spółka Komandytowa’s team ‘goes the extra mile to provide timely, consistent advice’. Joanna Wojnarowska advised Zeitgeist on its purchase of real estate in Warsaw. Clients also include Hochtief Development and Matexi Group. ‘First-class’ practice head Małgorzata Pietrzak-Paciorek and newly promoted partner Mateusz Grabiec are recommended. Linklaters’ ‘first-class’ team houses ‘very experienced and talented’ lawyers with ‘deep business knowledge’. Janusz Dzianachowski is advising Echo Polska Properties on its €142m acquisition of three shopping centres from Blackstone Group. ‘Creative, prompt and accessible’ counsel Weronika Guerquin-Koryzma is ‘a high-level specialist who is one of the best in the market’. White & Case M. Studniarek i Wspólnicy - Kancelaria Prawna sp.k.’s ‘partner-driven’ group handles real estate finance transactions and counts several major property funds among its clients. The ‘hardworking, concise and productive’ Michał Matera, who provides ‘down-to-earth advice and comfort in complex transactions’, leads the practice jointly with Maciej Zalewski.

DLA Piper Wiater sp.k.’s ‘strong’ team is ‘extremely focused on defined targets and crucial business goals’. ‘Experienced, commercial’ practice head Jacek Giziński and senior associate Agnieszka Lehwark, who joined from CMS, advised HB Reavis on its acquisition of developed land in Warsaw and Łódź.

Gide Loyrette Nouel’s ‘truly business-oriented and client-focused’ team ‘gains its opponents’ trust and induces confidence in negotiations’. ‘Scrupulous and responsive’ counsel Błażej Czwarnok is recommended alongside associates Rafał Osetek, who is ‘a fine transactional lawyer’, and Tomasz Roszczyc, who delivers ‘high-quality advice even under pressure’. ‘Open-minded, client-focused’ practice head Marcin Muszel has ‘brilliant ideas and outstanding sector knowledge’.

Kamil Osiński and Rafał Zięba are key contacts at Kochanski Zieba & Partners’ ‘professional, helpful and proactive’ team. Highlights included advising Echo Polska Properties on its €264m acquisition of seven office buildings. Skanska and Griffin Real Estate Fund are also clients.

Chajec, Don-Siemion & Zyto Legal Advisors’ group counts developers and investors, such as Echo Investment, Capital Park and Budlex among its clients. New practice head Patryk Galicki joined from Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland.

Crido Legal’s ‘extremely responsive, business-oriented and professional’ team advised Prime Holdings and Management on its acquisition of Suwałki Plaza shopping centre. ‘Client-oriented’ practice head Jakub Ziółek is ‘a smooth and efficient lawyer’.

Magnusson - Kancelaria Prawnicza’s group provides ‘good-quality advice, timely delivery and an analytical approach’. The ‘very focused and committed’ Andrzej Tokaj, who is ‘always ready to help’, and Agnieszka Pytlas-Skwierczyńska advised Rida Development on its office and residential projects in Gdańsk. PwC Legal Pawlowski Żelaznicki Sp. K’s team includes Jean Rossi and counsel Marta Hincz. It advised Crescendo Real Estate Partners on its development of three logistics centres in co-operation with Panattoni.
