Career
Rastko is the founding Partner of MMD Advokati.
For 20 years Rastko is advising clients in Serbia and Ex-Yu region in M&A transaction and competition related matters as well as in regulatory matters in different industries.
Main focuses of Rastko’s work are Pharma, Banking/Insurance and Energy industries, where he developed strong transactional and regulatory expertise. Also, he developed significant experience in sports law, and represented numerous clients in the arbitration procedures before the international sport tribunals, such as BAT tribunal.
One of the most recent works was legal assistance to the telecommunication provider in acquisition of one of the leading local players with coverage of all M&A and competition aspects.
In addition to his work, Rastko is very active in pro bono assistance aimed to improvement of position of patient organizations. Notably, he is a member of the Steering Committee for improvement of position of person with Rare Diseases and is also actively supporting the lung cancer patient organization in Serbia.
Rastko is fluent in English and speaks French.
