Erik is leading the way as co-head of Setterwalls’ EU and Competition Law Team focusing his practice counselling both tenderers and contracting authorities on matters related to public procurement.

Erik is continuously recognised as a trusted and preferred legal adviser for both Swedish and international companies seeking his guidance on complex matters encompassing the entire procurement process, from pre-tender phases to post-procurement matters as well as for assistance with competition law or state aid concerns.

Erik has advised on numerous high-profile procurements across Europe and has a proven track record of effectively representing clients in judicial review procedures and claims for damages arising from public procurement matters and has advised on several of Europe’s biggest procurements. Erik also advises clients on competition law and state aid matters. Furthermore, Erik contributes to the academic field by lecturing on advanced courses in public procurement law at Uppsala University and Stockholm University.
