The world of sports law continues to see increasingly global and larger commercial deals undertaken, particularly in the realms of football, rugby and Formula 1. Contractual disputes continue to flow, which draws on the experience of commercial and employment barristers in particular. Crime, professional discipline and personal injury are other areas that provide an increasing overlap with the sports Bar. Arbitration is often the preferred method of dispute resolution, particularly in the football context.
