Contentious and non-contentious traditional chancery practice, with particular emphasis on estates and family provision, trusts and equitable claims, Court of Protection (especially in connection with high net worth families), personal and trusts taxation, and related professional negligence. Regularly appears in County and High Courts, and Court of Protection. Notable reported cases include: Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind v Beasant  EWHC 2315 (Ch); Roberts v Fresco  EWHC 283 (Ch); Randall v Randall  EWHC 3134 (Ch),  EWCA Civ 494; and two decisions in Re Z  EWHC 1488 (Ch) and  EWCOP 55.
Qualified 2006, Lincoln’s Inn. Publications: contributed to the ‘Offshore Tax Planning Through Trusts’ chapter of 2007-08 edition of ‘Tax Planning – International and Specialist’; co-author of ‘Risk and Negligence in Wills, Estates and Trusts’ (second edition 2014, OUP).
