Abigail specialises in special jurisdiction (terrorism, extradition, exceptionally high value fraud). She frequently advises doctors on how to engage with their professional regulators and appears before juries at inquests.  She is routinely instructed in several of chambers’ many practice areas.

Publications of note: Research interests are psychiatry, law and human rights, security and coercion in secure forensic services. Recent publications include: ‘Dangerousness Revisited: Extended Sentences’, Institute of Psychiatry teaching materials (2014); ‘Psychiatric Issues in Sentencing’, Institute of Psychiatry teaching materials (2014). Case digester for the Administrative Court Digest, 2007-10.
