The team at DWF¬†has an extensive track record representing national, international and regional clients in contractual and company disputes, in addition to handling professional negligence, Judicial Review, competition, directors' disqualification, insolvency and contentious probate disputes, as well as arbitrations and injunctions. Food and drink, retail, telecommunications, utilities, energy, education and the public sector are all key areas of focus for the ‚Äėhardworking‚Äô team, which represented WM Morrison Supermarkets in a high-profile claim brought by employees and former employees whose confidential data was put into the public domain in 2014. The Insolvency Service, Lancashire County Council, Safeway and Manchester United Football Club are also clients. The 'fantastic'¬†Joel Heap¬†heads the disputes practice nationally, while¬†the 'very responsive and pragmatic'¬†Steve Morris¬†¬†- who is noted for his ‚Äėbusiness-like approach to litigation‚Äô - heads the team in Manchester.
