Career
Niels Koene is a lawyer in our Employment & Pensions Practice Area Group since 2011. He primarily represents national and international companies on both individual and collective labour law issues.
Niels’ advisory work includes dismissal cases, co-determination, employment conditions, employee incentives, collective bargaining agreements, social security, transfer of undertakings and work permit issues. Niels also provides advice from a corporate employment law perspective, such as employees’ legal position in transactions and the managing director’s legal position vs. shareholders and the supervisory board. Niels has several publications in various professional journals under his belt and he regularly hosts workshops for clients.
Niels is Co-Head of the International CMS Expat Desk and part of the CMS Mobility Group.
