Career

Oskar van de Weijer is partner in our Litigation and Insurance Practice Area Group. He specialises in liability claims and insurance disputes. He advises insurance companies, D&O’s and multinationals and focusses on the insurance sector.

Oskar advises on and litigates in extensive liability claims in international disputes and complex policy disputes. He has been involved in several major issues in the insurance practice over the last year, in particular in D&O, construction and financial institutions PI matters. Oskar also regularly advises in transactions in relation to W&I insurance and in (D&O) insurance matters in insolvency.

Oskar has been with CMS since 2018 and previously worked as a lawyer in the Insurance practice group at Houthoff for five years.
