Career

Simon Hardonk is a lawyer in our Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency group. He advises financial institutions, investors and corporates on all legal aspects involved in a range of restructuring (including distressed M&A), recovery and refinancing transactions, both domestically and internationally, and regularly resides in our London office. He also takes a special interest in sustainable finance.​

He is an experienced litigator with a special focus on directors’ liability, shareholder disputes and insolvency-related issues. Simon is frequently active as a substitute judge in the Rotterdam district court.​

As an expert in insolvency law, he is regularly appointed by Dutch courts as an insolvency practitioner. Thanks to his experience, Simon is able to provide excellent service to his clients who are looking for sound advice on corporate restructuring.
