Pedro Avvad has extensive experience in tax law (advisory and litigation), M&A and corporate disputes.
He worked as a professor of financial law for the undergraduate and graduate degree programmes at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) (2001–2004), tax law professor for the MBA in economic and business law programme at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) (2000–2003) and professor for the LLM in corporate law and capital markets at IBMEC/RJ (2011).
Member of the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) Arbitration Commission.
