His practice focuses on capital markets, banking and finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
He has advised issuers and underwriters in connection with debt, equity, asset-backed and structured securities offerings and tender offers, domestic and cross border. Iván also advises clients in connection with credit transactions and restructurings, in addition to having and active mergers and acquisition practice, with emphasis in private equity transactions.
Prior to joining SMPS Legal, Iván was a Partner with Acedo Santamarina, S.C. and Of counsel with Jones Day.
