Lawyer Rankings

Brazil > Real estate

Souto Correa Advogados fields an ‘extremely competent team of lawyers’, who are praised for their ‘technical knowledge’, and ‘collaborative’ and ‘proactive’ approach. The multifaceted practice handles all areas of contentious and non-contentious real estate law, but showcases particular strength in urban and rural acquisitions and developments. On the construction front, the group, which is skilled in all asset classes (including residential, commercial and logistics), has been increasingly busy in more niche areas such as football stadium developments. Porto Alegre-based Fabio Machado Baldissera is ‘an incredible professional’ who is trusted by both domestic and international companies engaged in complex real estate transactions; he heads up the department with Gilberto Deon Corrêa Júnior and Mauricio Paschoal. Clients also rate litigation partner Diogo Fries and associate Felipe Tremarin, who is experienced in real estate development and land division matters.
