Career

Eduardo Arturo Moreta Bello joined the firm as a senior lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Department, in 2022.

He has worked continuously for more than 8 years as a lawyer specialized in civil and commercial, real estate and criminal litigation in the Dominican Republic. He has vast experience in the development and application of litigation strategies (defensive and offensive) in favor of banking institutions, as well as important judicial interests of individuals and entities on a national level, before the Dominican courts and arbitration venues.

Before joining DMK Abogados, Eduardo served as an associate trial attorney and litigation director, respectively, at some of the Dominican Republic’s most prestigious law firms.

By him joining DMK Abogados, the Firm’s Litigation Department team is further reinforced with a senior lawyer with intense professional experience in the practice of law, who is farsighted, ethical and focused on always ensuring the best possible result in legal procedures, be they ongoing or potential, in favor of the represented interest.

Some of his most recent cases include successful representation of institutions within the local and international financial sector in real estate seizures, collection claims of securities and civil liability, registered rights disputes, criminal defenses, among other judicial procedures.

Eduardo graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 2014 and successfully completed a master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), to date pending degree.
