Verónica joined Esguerra Asesores Jurídicos in September 2018, as a lawyer working in the areas of Financial Law and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Veronica has worked in several Colombian law firms such as Castro Leiva Rendón Abogados, Holguín Neira & Pombo Abogados, Rodríguez Azuero Abogados and Posse Herrera & Ruiz Abogados. She has ample experience in corporate and finance law, where she has adviced several Mergers and Acquisitions of various industries, as well as lenders, borrowers and local and international financial entities in diverse financing operations, including syndicated and corporate financings, project finance, acquisition finance, financings with multilateral entities and export credit agencies and through the capital markets, including the issuance of bonds and shares in both local and international markets. She is co-author on the chapter for Colombia in the publications “International Secured Transactions”.
