Gonzalo Rencoret provides day-to-day assistance to large companies; Nicholas Mocarquer has extensive experience in M&A deals and public tender offers; the broad practice of the ‘outstandingSergio Orrego incorporates shareholder agreements and joint ventures; and Felipe Rencoret is similarly experienced in heavyweight transactions. The six-member competition team at Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr has a strong track-record in Competition Court cases, as well as investigations before the FNE. The group is also active in merger-control assessments and notifications, along with commercial agreements and distribution policies. It is additionally experienced in international unfair competition matters, such as anti-dumping and safeguard cases, and the implementation of compliance programmes. The practice is co-led by Nicholas Mocarquer, a member of the Chilean Bar Association’s Competition Commission since 2019; and Gonzalo Rencoret, whose broad practice includes competition law matters. Key associate Bernardita Schmidt is particularly active in investigations and merger clearances.

Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr‘s practice assists both domestic and foreign clients with data protection issues on an ongoing basis, including associated labour law issues.
