Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr‘s competition team numbers six attorneys – including two partners – and is well known for its assistance with merger control notifications and antitrust investigations but also reaches into international unfair competition matters (anti-dumping and safeguard cases – generally handled by international trade practice) that are also handled by the FNE. The department also advises on the implementation of compliance programs. Gonzalo Rencoret and Nicholas Mocarquer co-head the practice, drawing key support from associate Bernardita Schmidt.
