Career

Doug is a member of the firm’s energy and infrastructure team and represents sponsors, investors and providers of financing in a variety of energy transactions, primarily within the power generation sector. Doug focuses his practice on renewables, energy storage and other advanced energy technologies. He has represented parties to domestic and international transactions of varying structure and complexity, including the development and construction of distributed energy asset portfolios and an advanced nuclear generating facility, portfolio and single-asset mergers and acquisitions, formation and governance of partnerships and negotiation of construction, supply and service agreements. Doug has also represented parties to tax equity financing and loan transactions. Doug helps clients efficiently structure and close complex deals, benefiting clients with his understanding of the ownership and operation of these assets, as well as trends affecting the energy industry more broadly.

Active in the firm’s pro bono practice, Doug has also represented not-for-profit organizations and small businesses.
