Virgile Puyau represents French and international clients across various industries, including automotive, electric power and utilities, financial services and banking, and health care. He advises clients on a variety of transactional and litigation matters involving individual and collective labor relations, employee benefits, and executive compensation.

Virgile’s litigation experience covers French civil and criminal courts, including labor courts, courts of appeals, district courts, social security courts, as well as administrative courts.

Virgile regularly consults on GDPR and privacy issues, especially in relations to global compliance, as well as relationships and disputes with the CNIL and other national or local Data Protection Authorities.

Education

Virgile received a Maîtrise in private law in 2004. He also received a DESS in Labor Law and Human Resources Management in 2005, with great honors, from the University of Paris-Saint Denis, and a DESS in Working Relationships Law and Practice in 2006, with honors, from the University of Panthéon-Assas.
