With a presence in over 90 countries, the firm extends its reach to sectors such as transport infrastructure, renewables, petrochemicals, and commercial property. Leading the team is Ellis Baker, an expert in all facets of construction and engineering project delivery. Among the key members are David Robertson, a specialist in oil and gas, power, and infrastructure projects, particularly in Asia, as well as Karim Mariey, who has a focus on resolving complex construction disputes arising from projects in the Middle East and North Africa. Daniel Garton left for Allen & Overy LLP in September 2023, and shortly after, Phillip Capper left too.

Practice head Michael Turrini has an extensive cross-border practice that sees him active in disputes across the region, including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as well as further afield in Europe, Asia and China. Aimy Roshan is adept at handling complex commercial and construction contract disputes and Karim Mariey has bolstered the practice since relocating from the firm’s London office in March 2023.
