Career
Ansgar Wimber is a partner in our Frankfurt office, specializing in private equity and public and private M&A transactions. Ansgar also advises on capital market transactions and general corporate matters. His prior experience includes working as an investment banker for three years in the German coverage team at Goldman Sachs and as a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell. Recent transactions include advising Advent International in the acquisition of a 30% stake in Aareon AG, Advent International and Bain Capital in their acquisition of Concardis and its subsequent merger with Nets; Advent International / Culligan Water in connection with add-on acquisitions in the DACH region; KKR in connection with its acquisition of heidelpay; shareholders of MKM GmbH on its sale to KME AG. He also regularly advises Providence Strategic Growth in connection with platform and add-on acquisitions for its portfolio companies.
