Shona is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Management Practice Group. She specialises in Real Estate Litigation.

Shona has experience in advising a wide range of clients including developers, commercial property investors, financial institutions, landowners, pension schemes and corporate occupiers. She is experienced across a broad range of both non contentious and contentious property issues.

More recently Shona has focussed on contentious property issues including;

• extinguishing rights of way over development land, 
• disputing rights of access over private land,  
• adverse possession claims, prescription claims,  
• boundary disputes, removal of occupiers and title issues.

Shona also advises in relation to property management issues including advising on business lease renewals, forfeiture, dilapidation claims, break notices, rent arrears and issues relating to assignment of leases. Shona has also advised on various option and overage agreements.

Experience on the non contentious property side includes in relation to freehold acquisitions; grants and assignments of leases, including dealing with renewal leases under the 1954 Act; development agreements and renewable energy leases.
