Dan is a Principal Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Management Group. He specialises in Real Estate Litigation, Management and Disputes. Dan has advised a wide range of clients across the private and public sector which include; financial institutions, pension funds, commercial property investors, public sector and local governments, retail and private landlords. Dan's knowledge and experience includes advising on a wide range of management and contentious issues including: advice on forfeiture, lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, dilapidations claims, break notices, rent arrears, recovery from former tenants/guarantors, tenant insolvency and ancillary issues, residential and commercial possession claims, contested lease renewals, advising owners of freehold land on their rights and the rights of neighbouring landowners (often where only historic title deeds are available), adverse possession claims, traveller possession claims, enforceability of restrictive covenants, title rectification, overage, disputing option notices, agricultural tenancies, subsidence and nuisance claims and issues in respect of straying livestock.
