Anna Lundy

Anna is an Associate in the Corporate Compliance Team of our Litigation and Dispute Management Group. She specialises in corporate criminal defence work, non-financial regulatory advice and non-contentious compliance advice. Her practice covers a broad range of areas including major accident investigations, Police and Criminal Evidence Act (“PACE”) Interviews under Caution, coroners and inquests, crisis management and immediate on-site support, product labelling and product safety.

Anna is a member of the Food Law team and advises on technical food safety matters in relation to food labelling, health and nutrition claims, allergens, HACCP systems and other food enforcement issues.

Her recent experience includes:

• Advising and defending a company in a Crown Court trial following a food poisoning fatality;

• Representing clients at inquests;

• Providing immediate on-site support for clients following total loss fires, assisting with the investigations and preparing the investigation reports;

• Representing clients in Trading Standards and Environmental Health Interviews under Caution and preparing clients for HSE interviews under caution;

• Prosecuting in relation to breaches under environmental legislation;

• Conducting legal reviews of clients’ Safety Management Systems and procedures and drafting the report; and

• Coordinating large scale multi-jurisdictional advice for clients on asbestos notification obligations, apparel labelling, product labelling, nutrition and health claims amongst others, whilst working closely with our international offices and relationship firms.

Anna has spoken at various industry conferences including at the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Royal Society for Public Health annual conferences. She regularly delivers training to clients and industry groups.

Anna is a member of the Health and Safety Lawyers’ Association and Women in Health and Safety.

Anna was seconded to our Paris office for 6 months as part of her training contract working within the International Employment Team.
