Giulia is an Associate in our Financial Services team. She advises financial institutions on a wide range of issues and complex matters involving investment funds and financial products.

Giulia works on both UCITS and AIFs and advises on structuring, establishment and authorization of such investment funds. She advises clients on all issues arising in the lifecycle of a fund, including variations to existing fund specifications, mergers and terminations. She has assisted on a number of high value and innovative matters in this field including ACSs, LTAFs and ESG funds. She also has experience in large-scale project management, corporate transactions in the financial services sector, regulatory and advisory work, legal drafting, and negotiation.

Giulia works closely with clients across the industry including asset managers and depositaries and can advise on regulatory changes as well as contracts relevant to investment funds.

Her recent experience includes working on all aspects relevant to the launch of one of the UK’s first ever LTAFs; assisting a major depositary on a two-year project to transition over £200 billion in custody assets relating to 19 underlying fund managers; and advising on the establishment of the first Shariah-compliant retail fund range in the UK.
