Lauren Prevost is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practices and leads the firm’s Real Estate Capital Markets team. Lauren represents public and private companies in high growth industries, particularly commercial real estate and technology. Her practice is focused on the areas of corporate finance, federal securities law compliance, FINRA registration, blue sky law compliance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate representation.

Lauren represents clients in structuring and consummating complex corporate transactions, including public offerings, private placements, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations. She has significant experience in representing issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders in connection with initial public offerings and follow-on offerings. In recent years, she has devoted most of her time to representing real estate investments trust (REITs) and developing complex real estate investment funds for both institutional and retail investors. She has also assisted many technology companies with complex corporate financings. Lauren has guided private companies and their boards of directors through the initial public offering process, on-going reporting requirements and stock exchange requirements, as well as through the business and corporate governance issues encountered by a public company.

Lauren regularly counsels public and private companies utilizing unique alternative securities distribution channels and methods. She also advises board of directors and board committees on corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance and best practices.

Lauren is a frequent speaker on topics relating to non-listed real estate investment trusts.
