Claudia Navarro joined the firm in 2010 and is partner of the Infrastructure and Public Utilities Practice Group. She has advised many companies along the different activities of the energy sector using conventional and non-conventional sources, as well as natural gas. Among others, Ms. Navarro has wide experience in contract’s structuring, including but not limited to, BOOMT, PPAs and connection agreements and all matters related to electricity retail and natural gas production.

She is an expert in regulation of the electric energy and natural gas services and she has been recognized as a distinguished attorney by various sectorial associations such as: ANDESCO, ACOLGEN, ASOCODIS, and ANDI. She has actively participated in the process of consolidation and recognition of the Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Gas practice, accomplishing to position it in national and foreign market.

Currently, Ms. Navarro teaches the course “Infrastructure: regulation and finance” in the Faculty of Law at the Universidad de los Andes and “Public, construction and concession agreements typology, infrastructure and public utilities” at the Universidad del Rosario.

Ms. Navarro holds postgraduate degrees in Public Management from Universidad de los Andes and Contractual Law from Universidad Externado. Moreover, she holds a Master’s Degree in Constitutional Law from Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales of Madrid and undertook her PhD studies at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain.
