I qualified in 2008 and have specialised in contentious restructuring & advisory work throughout my career. 

I have moved through the ranks from solicitor to senior solicitor, being promoted to Associate in 2014 and Senior Associate in 2018.  I was promoted to Partner in May 2019.

I am a committee member of the Edinburgh Insolvency Discussion Group (the “EIDG”).  I hold the CPI (Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency) qualification.  I regularly speak and provide training on insolvency-related topics, including providing training for the JIEB (Joint Insolvency Examination Board) exam, providing the legal updates to the EIDG and IPA Conference. I am also part of the Terralex Restructure & Insolvency Group.
