Career

Paul joined the Farani Taylor team in 2018. He is extremely experienced in regulatory law, having worked for one of the largest financial services companies in the UK as General Counsel and Head of Legal for many years. He has chaired a top 200 law firm and has setup his own firm specialising in estate planning for financial services companies.

Paul is a solicitor specialising in company and commercial law, regulatory law, financial services, IT law, intellectual property, wills and probate, and estate planning.

He has an information technology background, prior to training as a solicitor in the nineties. His knowledge and success in the corporate world has allowed him more of an insight into how to better serve his commercial clients.

Since 1998, he has acted for leading distributors, providers, insurers, software houses, portals, platforms and other participants in the life and pensions, and general insurance and mortgage industry.

Paul is a fountain of knowledge and loves to help businesses succeed in both setup and throughout their lifespan.

He decided following the death of a loved one, to train in Wills, Trust and Probate and deliver these services to the clients of his network of financial advisers and brokers. He has recently been asked to assist the SQA with the development of their training for Probate Administration.
