Position

Nav qualified as a Solicitor in 1999, joining Weightmans in 2006. Nav became a Partner in 2015.

After gaining extensive experience in defending employer liability and occupier liability claims, she specialises in dealing with complex high value sub cat claims with a particular expertise in chronic pain claims as well as multi-defendant actions in both the multi-track and fast-track arena.

Nav has developed considerable knowledge and expertise of defending claims in the manufacturing, logistics and utilities sectors. Nav also has particular expertise in relation to the extension of the protocol to low value EL/PL claims.

Nav has written articles and regularly delivers training to clients with regard to employers and occupiers claims as well as guidance with regard to civil litigation reforms in general.

Nav  has a very  client focused role not only  defending  claims for a number of key clients but also as  Operational Service Delivery Partner for a utilities sector client as well as being client relationship partner for others.

Nav has extensive experience of implementing process to ensure consistent and excellent service delivery whilst maintaining quality. In an operational capacity, Nav is responsible for ensuring claims are handled proactively with a commercial awareness and understanding of what is important for our clients.

Nav works closely with a number of clients with regard to MI, process and service delivery. Nav is regularly asked by clients to deliver training/speak at events and for her input into claims defensibility and process improvements.
